Celebrating the work of Out East leaders

Out East has been getting some great press lately. Here are a couple links with coverage of the work that community leaders are doing in the neighborhood.

  • First is a 2-minute video segment from First Coast News about November’s very successful Melanin Market. The vendor they interviewed offers a powerful perspective at the end of the video.

  • Second is a lovely video profile that highlights the partnership between Feeding Northeast Florida and the Historic Eastside Community Development Corporation.

  • Finally, The Jaxson just published an interesting article on the history of the A. Philip Randolph Boulevard commercial corridor, including a nod to the "withintrification" plan that Lift Jax is working on with community leaders.

Please enjoy the videos and the article, and we’d love to hear your reactions if you have a chance to take a look!
